Tyler Ford's Managing Partner, David Irwin feels victims of domestic violence are the “underdogs” – society tends to think of this crime as a “family problem” and people don’t want to get involved or don’t want to believe it. He feels a special need to help women and children who are escaping abuse. In 2004 Mr. Irwin offered to donate a car so the East Texas Crisis Center could make more money with the raffle. Each year since, Tyler Ford has donated a car to the East Texas Crisis Center for the East Texas Auto & Cycle Show Raffle. In 2007, the Children’s Wing of the East Texas Crisis Center was dedicated to Tyler Ford for their continued support. Via-Search is an Internet Marketing company based in East Texas. Wayne Blackwelder, the founder and president of Via-Search has been donating time and resources to the East Texas Crisis Center since 1999. Wayne designed the communications and network infrastructure of the East Texas Crisis Center's main facility and trained their staff to be self sufficient on a daily basis.
